A continuous inkjet printer marks variable codes on packaging as it moves on a line. It is used on production lines. The printhead does not touch the product. Ink is delivered through a hose to the printhead. Typical codes are date, time, batch, serial number, barcode, and QR code. Ink colours are black, blue, red, and yellow. The hose length is 3 m, and up to 6 m on request. Character height, print distance, and line speed are listed in the specifications. Other requirements are confirmed on the quotation.
