How to choose an automatic weighing filling machine

All guides

An automatic weighing filler controls fill by weight. The number of heads is customized to output. It is quoted as part of a filling line.

How the fill is controlled

The automatic weighing filler controls each fill by weight, not by time and not by a rotor pump. Because the target is a weight, the machine suits high-concentration liquids whose flow changes with viscosity. Containers can be round or square, including pails.

Choosing the number of heads

The number of heads is customized to the output you need. Common configurations are 4 heads and 6 heads. Tell us the output you expect from the line, and the head count is set on the quotation.

Automatic or semi-automatic

If an operator will place and remove containers by hand, the semi-automatic 2-head weighing filler may fit. If containers should move through the machine without manual handling, choose the automatic weighing filler. Both fill by weight.

Part of a filling line

This filler is quoted as part of a line. The machines behind it, such as sealing, capping, labeling and coding, are selected to the same duty. Voltage is customized to the site.

What to send for a quote

Send the liquid and its viscosity if known, the container and its size, the target fill and the accuracy you need, the output you expect, and the site power. Fill range, accuracy, power and speed are confirmed on the written quotation.
