Induction sealing bonds a foil liner to a container mouth. It provides leak prevention and tamper evidence. The sealer is selected to the container diameter.
The bottle is filled and capped first. The cap has an aluminum foil liner. The sealing head creates an electromagnetic field that heats the foil, and the foil bonds to the bottle mouth. The head does not touch the bottle or the product, and water cooling keeps the coil cool.
There are two machines on this site. The water-cooled induction foil sealer works in cycles. The water-cooled induction sealing machine seals bottles as they move on a conveyor. Choose the inline machine when bottles should be sealed without stopping the line.
The cap needs an induction foil liner that suits the bottle material. Seal quality depends on the cap, the liner and the bottle mouth, so samples let the setting be confirmed before the quotation.
Induction sealing is placed after the capping machine and before labeling. It is used for bottles and jars that need a leak-proof, tamper-evident seal, such as food, sauces, daily chemical and pharmaceutical products.
Send the bottle material and mouth size, the cap and its foil liner, the product, how many bottles are sealed, the line speed and the site power. Bottle and cap samples help confirm the setting.
