A labeling machine applies labels to containers. It is customized to the bottle shape and label type. The machine is quoted to the container and site.
Bottles move on the conveyor and are spaced apart. A sensor detects each bottle, and the label is peeled from the backing roll and pressed onto the bottle. On round bottles the label is wrapped around the body; on flat bottles it is pressed onto the flat side.
The machine applies self-adhesive labels from a roll. It is used for round and flat bottles in food, beverage, pharmaceutical and daily chemical products. Bottle diameter, height and label size are adjusted to the duty, and the machine is made of 304 stainless steel. Labeling accuracy is ±1 mm, and power is 220 V, customized to the site.
The bottle shape and the label size decide the labeling head and the guides. Sending bottle and label samples lets the machine be set up to the bottle type on the quotation.
Labeling usually comes at the end of a filling line, after capping and sealing. Codes such as dates and batch numbers can be added by a continuous inkjet printer or a laser marking machine.
Send bottle samples, the label size and roll, where the label sits on the bottle, the line speed and the site power. Bottle diameter and label size are confirmed on the written quotation.
